Anyone know of a place that reconditions the crankshaft damper/pulley on a BJ8
Greetings. Peter and I will be checking out the Crowne Plaza Ventura Oct 23-24. We fully expect to finalize this as the site for CHW 2011. We have a spot for the car show in a plaza on the other side of the hotel. You can check it on Google Maps and see the plaza just to the east.

We're posting this for Dan who's looking to reconstruct racing history of his California car. Contact Dan directly. Clubmembers can post comments as well "I looking for any information pertaining to my 1957 100-6. the car was raced in California. I don't know if it was raced in SCCA events or club races. I have attached some images of the car for your review. The car was up graded to 1961, 3000 running gear and it has unique loovers in hood. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Greetings. For those interested in an update on CHW 2011, Peter and I are currently negotiating with the Crowne Plaza Ventura. They offer very good room rates, free parking, and ample facilities. The Embassy Suites in Oxnard has not shown much willingness to negotiate the rates and amenities, and is fast falling out of favor. Peter and I will be making a site visit in the next few weeks. Visit my blog for updates.
Does anyone know where I might find a passenger side foot rest? In the 1960's, I had one as an accessory on an MGB - it was a chrome plated bar that the passenger could put his/her feet against. When not in use, it would pivot backward (toward the seat) out of the way. The brackets bolted to the floor and the rest attached to them after they protruded through the carpet.
If anyone has any ideas, short of fabricating one, please let me know.
Thank you.

Trying to get my late '67 BJ8 up to snuff for Concours judging.
I need the following original parts:
Jack and handle
Tools and pouch
Correct horns..not the Moss aftermarket ones that have the wrong terminals. Correct horns have four terminals on the rear horn and two on the front.
Set of Spark Plug end boots. These are the 90 degree boots with Champion logo embossed into them.
Any condition, will pay top price for correct parts. Can send photos of the RIGHT STUFF if interested. Any members with leads on where to look for these items, please contact me.
Any club members used Luke's shop in Riverside for Trans. work? Danny
I just bought a hardtop from a member and need someone who has a BJ7 or BJ8 under restoration without the ragtop and frames. I do need the door glass panels and windshield in place in order to see that this top fits towards the back of the rear frame. I am in the process of restoring this top with a new rear window. if this top requires to much modification or fits an earlier model i will put it back up for sale. Cell phone 310-994-0113
