United Artists – 10/21

Where did the warm weather go? It was downright chilly this morning as I headed up the 2 Freeway to Montrose for the “Early Rodders” car gathering. I pulled into the parking lot and found Jon Doherty, with his black 100, and Jeff Boysen, in his red and white BN7, already there.

I parked next to them and was soon talking to Tom Spangler, whose yellow Bugeye is in the body shop.

I hadn’t seen Jeff in a couple of months, so we caught up on recent news and checked out the other cars on hand. Lou Fisher also showed up a little later in his 3000 MkI. The weather improved as the sun rose above the hills and the temperature started to climb. After we all tromped around the parking lot checking out the cars it was soon time to head our separate ways. Jeff to work, Lou to his garage to wash and clean his car, Tom back to Orange County, Jon headed home and I went looking for a Breakfast Burrito!
