NOVEMBER 13 – 15 - Those who have joined us in the past know what a perfect get-away it is and how a long weekend there just refreshes the soul!  For those new to Catalina, the Pavilion Lodge is located in Avalon, right across the sidewalk from the water.  There’s always plenty do; take a walk on the pier, feast on local seafood and other delicacies at one of the many cafes or restaurants, stroll along the water’s edge and watch a sunset or take in a movie at the famous Casino, which has an amazing theater.   Go fishing or hiking, enjoy the shops, rent a golf car for a great way to sight-see (and save your feet), take a voyage on the glass bottom boat or submarine. Or, check out one of the bus tours around Avalon or the Island’s beautiful interior.   Or, do nothing!  Sleep in, read a good book in the shade, share good times with friends and just relax.   It’s entirely up to you. This is a recurring event for British Cars which meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 9-11AM at the Golden Cove Shopping Center in Rancho Palos Verdes. For our club, this event is handled by Don Newman. (2 Points)
