It was really "in the wet" and I couldn't see through my goggles.  My navigator is Nell Holdstock, then President of the A-H Club of British Columbia, Canada.  The unseen funny part was me inadvertently hitting the Windscreen Wipers switch and them beating themselves to death between the inside of the windscreen and the shroud!
