Welcome to Spring!!!!! Now that the winter that wasn’t is behind us and spring is here, it’s time to get your beauties out on the road. As usual, Mike Scroggie put together another GREAT show at the Festival of Whales in Dana Point. We were well represented including Phil Caliva with his new bionic knee. This was his first sojourn driving a car with a clutch since his knee replacement. We were very lucky with the weather, which was perfect. Thank you, Mike. As I mentioned last month, there are a few more great car events over the next month. These include the Queens English at Woodley Park, Rolling British Car Day starting in Carlsbad, and the Seal Beach car show. This group makes for a great beginning to the car show season, so get your cars ready to go, bring a chair and catch-up on all the latest news. And there is the Long Beach Grand Prix in the next couple of weeks as well in case you need more car stuff to do.

Tragic LA fires. Wrapping up the LA fires tragedy, once again I would like to thank you all for being so  generous. We ended up collecting $7,785 to help our members through these challenging times. We have an AMAZING Healey community and family, and I want to thank you all. We received a very nice thank you letter from Ken McPheeters. I will forward it to you, so you can feel the depth of his gratitude as well.

CHW 2025- CHW 2025 is only 6 1⁄2 months away. As a reminder, it will be held in Yosemite National Park in October during what should be peak fall colors in the Sierras. To date, we have over 28 registrations and 53 people and a couple more who just signed up. I hope you can join us for another great CHW. You just cannot beat the natural beauty of Yosemite, especially in the fall. Also, as a reminder for those interested, David Nock from the GGAHC is setting up a fall colors tour just before CHW 2025. David’s tour will pass through some of the gold rush back roads and Sierra passes looking for the perfect fall scenery. CHW 2025 is the second week of October 2025, so I hope to see you there.

75th Anniversary International Healey Meet- The planning for the 75th International Healey Meet in Lake Tahoe in June of 2027 continues. We have opened the registration for the international folks while we finalize the last few details. Keep your eyes peeled for the latest info coming out shortly. We have finalized the costs, and we plan to open registration soon for those in North America, so keep a look-out for the notification.

If you are in the market to buy or sell your Healey, there has been a change to the national club’s marketplace. The for-sale section has been moved from the magazine to the digital on-line section only.
