Los Angeles Cars & Coffee 6/28

I pulled into the upper parking lot just past the merry- go-round a few minutes past seven to find five members and four cars already parked. That's what happens when you stop at McDonald's to get a breakfast sandwich. Thankfully, the donut truck was on hand, so my coffee fix was taken care of. As I was parking at the end of the lineup of Dan O'Neill, Peter Roses, Phil Caliva, and Monica and Clay Kaytis in rolled Dan Burrola to complete the lineup of Healeys.

The show gets a wide range of cars every month, and the turnout of families, car nuts, and dogs is unbelievable. This month we had the people from the Yaamava Casino on hand with the 1987 Buick GNX from the TV commercials. Some of the more interesting cars were the Jaguar Saloon, a beautiful Volvo P1800, an early T-Bird, and a micro-van. We enjoyed the company of ex-members Amanda Cole and Art Perez. Art came on British iron, a Triumph motorcycle instead of Amanda's Bugeye. By 9am people were leaving as more cars were showing up. A lot of fun on a Sunday morning!
