CHW Poker Run – Tuesday 5/14

Our California Healey Week Poker Run started at the Embassy Suites and traveled through central coast roads before ending in Avila Beach. Starting in the morning the participants left the Embassy Suites for Atascadero, then on to Morro Bay then along to Los Osos, turning onto Los Osos Valley Rd and then on to Prefumo Canyon Road. Then down See Canyon Rd to Avila Beach. The route combined back roads and spectacular coastal range views.
The Kirst poker card was distributed at Registration check in and Peter and Alexandra Roses distributed the second card at Rally Dispatch and the fourth card at Kinal check in at Avila Beach. Ron Bender and Debbie Trentacost helped by distributing poker cards at Morro Bay and the fifth and final card passed out at the evening cocktail party. The participants combined their five poker cards along with two community cards to make the best 5 card hand.
Winners were Greg Aden, best hand a full house, Randy and Carolyn Jones 2nd, Jay and Katie Miller 3rd, and Brian Blevin 4th.
