Balboa Fun Zone - 4/11

The Balboa Peninsula Fun Zone show was the usual small gathering of the regular group of Hot Rods and Collectible car enthusiasts. On hand were a group of early 60's Corvettes, two GM Gassers and a few interesting cars and Pickups.
Tom and Page Rubinate showed up with their beautiful International Harvester surfer wagon, John Hummer and Alice Johnson attended in their ‘59 Primrose Yellow 100-6, Peter Hutchings drove his ‘74 Jensen Healey, Larry Netherton and his dog in a Red BJ8 also showed up. I, of course, drove my Black over White BJ8.
One of my great friends Mike Arciaga from Newport Beach arrived to visit with me, we go all the way back to Grammar School, and had a great time talking old times.
At 0750 Peter, Alice and John and I headed out to the Legacy Show in Tustin. Good start for a Sunday.
