The Dana Point Car Show was held on August 24, 2025 from 10AM until 3PM in the Lantern District of Dana Point...not far from the harbor. The weather was warm, but not overly uncomfortable. The event was very well attended, probably the largest ever.
All types of classic and collectable cars attended, including Hot Rods, American classics, European classics, sports cars and customs. They were parked along Del Prado Avenue, which is about a two-mile sectioned off road that runs parallel to PCH. It is perfect for staging a car show, with both north and south lanes available for the cars, as well as foot traffic and spectators.
We had a perfect parking place for our display, on the southbound side of the divided street, in the shade. It was a perfect day at the beach! A video of the show can be seen by googling “2025 Dana Point Car show” (our group can be seen near the beginning of the video).
Attending the show with their Healeys included: Monica Lago-Kaytis, Clay Kaytis, Steve Heck, Bob & Nick Bolling, Greg Aden, Phil Caliva, John Hummer & Alice Johnson, Tom & Paige Rubinate and Mike & Kathy Scroggie. With her MGB was Amanda Walker and copilot Tony Esposito. Also attending without his Healey was Tony Trentacost.
