LA Cars and Coffee 9/28

Made the short drive from the house to Griffith Park and arrived at the Cars & Coffee parking lot, which was only half full. A situation which would rapidly change in the next 30 minutes. Got my parking space, fairly close to the coffee and donut truck and waited to see who else would show up. I was hoping Dan Burrola would show since I had his folding chair; forgotten at the Boots and Bonnets show two weeks earlier.
Oh, sweet success! He showed, and I handed over his chair.
It turned out to be the two of us this morning. We still got a lot of attention and talked to a lot of car lovers who once owned a Healey or just loved the car but couldn’t afford one.
I really like this show due to the large crowds of spectators and the very interesting cars that are on display. Like the mini-car BMW Isetta to the super long Caddie with the space- ship fins.
