On Saturday, March 21st, the annual All British Swap Meet was held in Lake Forest at Steve Kirby’s shop.
As usual, sellers began arriving before the 6am start time, despite it being pitch black! Coffee and donuts, courtesy of the Jaguar Driver’s Club of Orange County, arrived shortly thereafter.
By 7am the parking lot was full and buyers started arriving. Items on offer ran the gamut from full engine blocks to small electrical parts. Also offered were books, manuals, tools, diagnostic equipment and more. Lots of money changed hands, but as usual, the sellers were also buyers, so everyone went home with about the same load they came with! If you attend next Spring, be sure to come early. All the action takes place between 6 and 9am and by 10am, most vendors are packing up.
