Greetings Group, We had a most beautiful day for our April Car Guys get together and breakfast. This time the weather was perfect. A crisp low 60s morning but warming into the 70s by the time we were gathered in the Farmer Boys parking lot looking to see who brought what. And there was a lot to see.
Tom Yaeger trailered in his new find. A 1924 Chevrolet custom bodied Speedster. A great barn find that has been off the road for 15 years. Tom must sort it out before getting it roadworthy again, but it looks like a fun project. A real leather helmet, goggles, and big gloves kind of project.
Almost at the other end of the classic car spectrum was Judi driving in with Steve Robb's 1972 De Tomaso Pantera. Black with gold trim and a great rumbling exhaust. As a retired airline Captain Judi has piloted much faster hardware but she looked like she was enjoying the ride. Steve drove in with a second car, his cherry 2011 Mustang Fastback.
For those of you that have been in the Austin Healey Association of Southern California for a long time, we had some guests you may remember. Julie Goldsworth dropped by and gave Sandy a small box of old photos she came across in her dad's stuff.
Carroll Goldsworth was the club’s editor for many years.
The photos were a real treat to look through. Were we ever that young really? Also stopping by this time was Nina Freeman. Her parents were Ralph and Ann Comito. Ralph had a modified red AH 3000 with a Chevy 350 engine. It was great to remember them. Ralph’s car is still in the Club, owned by Dave Beugen, and living in the South Bay.
We had a good line up of Classics.

We eventually went inside for breakfast and table talk. It was another successful feeding and sharing with old and new friends.
