Supercar Sunday 8/2

You may remember that my Sprite's clutch failed me during CHW in San Diego. Well, I am very happy to report that I got Baby (my Bugeye) back from Speedwell Engineering on Friday, so I had a great weekend of driving. Even if I did run out of gas coming back from Silver Spur on Saturday! But that’s another story.
We arrived at Pierce College to find Phil Caliva in his black/white Healey and Jack Gies detailing his Big Healey. Phil had arrived early and informed us that he had already had his breakfast because he had to drive down “south” for an event. Interesting. Then Phil tells us that Tim McNiff wouldn’t be coming to Supercar Sunday because he was also going to an event down “south”. Hmmm, seems like something fun was happening and this noob wasn’t invited.
Maybe next time. LOL! With a very light Healey attendance, Clay and I decided to leave early and go get some waffles in Encino. I highly recommend More Than Waffles. It’s all about the waffles.
