Greetings Group, We are so lucky. Say it again. We are so lucky. We literally got the cool down and calm before the storm for our event. The 100 degree plus temps had just ended, and the coming storm was a day away. A beautiful morning drive to Riverside to enjoy our fun cars with our fun friends.
We had two new additions to our group. Roland Taras and Ian Hoyland came for the first time. Coincidentally they were both driving '51 MG TD's. Roland's '51 MG TD is equipped with a period Wade supercharger. Not sure I've ever seen one before. I had to look it up on Wikipedia.

Ian's '51 MG TD was acquired a little over a year ago and is in the process of being sorted out. A very straight looking car. I like the lights. He arrived just a little too late to meet Roland, who coincidentally advertises repair and parts for MG's.

Another great restoration. He installed air conditioning in this one for his wife Ellen. A very clean installation. Notice the alternator sitting just above the compressor. Tight but right.
Scotts a very good fabricator. Ellen's MGB It was a big day for MG's, but the modified Austin Healeys that Allan Perry and I brought also created interest for those who hadn't seen them before. For cars rebuilt 25 years ago they still show very well.

Jimmie Davis is usually the first one to arrive, but he had to call a repairman to get his garage door open.
Broken springs and stuff. He came as soon as he could and didn't miss breakfast.
